About Me

Top of the mornin' to ya! I'm Florencia, and I do not go by any nicknames because the name "Flora" reminds me of an old woman knitting on a bench and the name "Flo" reminds me of... someone trying too hard to be cool? Anyway, here's some fun facts about me:

• I'm from Argentina but I now live in the US, and I speak both English and Spanish. (Hopefully someday I can translate this website to Spanish as well.)
• I have been playing the violin since I was 9 years old. (I also love classical music, by the way.) Violin is my pride and joy.
• I love math, I love philosophy, I love Seinfeld, my favorite color is dark green, my favorite author is Dostoevsky... well, I won't keep rambling.

Oh, and one more thing: I love black metal.

Over the last 2 decades or so, black metal has been expanding horizontally, but not vertically, to a great extent. There is so much cool stuff that is happening in this genre, all while remaining underground and out of the public eye. There are also a lot of shitty bands in the genre, which means that you really have to DIG in order to find stuff that you like. To me, the struggle to find good music is a worthwhile struggle. I am so passionate about this genre, and I hope that this website will convey to you the extent of my dedication.
